The Ultimate Cheeseburger - tender juicy burgers topped with caramelised sauteed onions, cheese, tomato and lettuce.
You know those times when you really fancy a burger? Well don't blow your allowance on a take out, make your own right in your home. This Ultimate Cheeseburger, tastes far better and you won't be left with that guilty feeling that you have ruined your day.
For instance, swap out the usual burger bun for a low calorie roll. Use light cheese slices and make the burgers using extra lean ground beef and some lean bacon (this keeps the burgers nice and juicy and tender).
I use a perfect mix of seasoning to add flavour to the burgers. Added the salt to the outside just before you fry them. Gives them a nice sear and locks in all the juices.
Then of course there is those perfectly sautéed caramelized onions along with lettuce, tomato, ketchup and light mayo.
The burgers can be formed by hand or you can use nifty burger press.
If you want chips with this Ultimate Cheeseburger, then serve with a my perfect oven baked chips.
